The DeckTech.net HeroClix Contests rules.

Contest Info:
End Date: August 31st
Prize:

• The Heroclix Team Building winner will receive a Unique Elektra from Infinity Challenge
• The Heroclix Strategy Article winner will receive a Unique Wolverine from Infinity Challenge
• The winners of each contest will receive a 1,000 tech point bonus and the item of their choice from the Danger Room.

Contest Rules:

1. All intermediate and advanced teams ( Marvel or DC and 300 points) that are submitted during the contest time frame will qualify for the Heroclix Team Building contest. All articles submitted will qualify for the Heroclix Strategy Article contest.
2. The top 10 rated submissions in each contest will qualify for the final round.
3. Submissions that make it to the final round will be voted on by a panel on non-participating judges.
4. Each judge will rate the submissions, in private. The Judges will then compare ratings and select the winner.

What the judges will be looking for:

Heroclix Team Building:

1. Detailed play strategy ( starting set up, opening moves, taxi-attacker combos, play strategies for indoor vs outdoor maps, and counter-strategies for some of the popular teams out there.)
2. Is the team creative or original?
3. Writing style and quality content
   
   

1. Does the article cover a specific subject rather than attempt to cover multiple subjects.
2. Is the article engaging and interesting?
3. Are there major grammatical or spelling errors that detract from the article?
4. Does the author demonstrate expertise on the topic of the article?
5. From the perspective of new players how much would the article help improve their game.
6. You can focus on either Marvel, DC or general Heroclix.
   

What will disqualify your entry:

1. Submissions with profanity or obscene material.
