Looking forward to the next phase of reliving sealed. EJPs, EPPs and SE packs are on the way to add to our decks. The EPPs will be interesting since we have to figure out how to divvy the mains.

Myo! Forgot about him. Neither of us pulled him so far, but he would be awesome. I've had been killing with my arcana UNTIL my friend discovered this officer from I think Dagobah that prevents reacts to and from his location (shakes fist) "Good move my friend" 🤓

I still can't believe how good
Myo
was in sealed. I only pulled like 6-8 characters and had to go super high destiny and was able to go undefeated in a sealed tournament because of using him and tracking him.

I've been lucky with pack pulls vs my friend. We played last weekend and opened up cloud city packs. Now I've got Han, Tarkin, R2D2, Chewie, SOS, Yoda, LS Lando. Having a star destroyer pulled is really nice too.

My friend got Boba Fett, Tarkin, Leia. We're gonna split of box of premiere unlimited, EJP, and now we're going to add Reflections I to the mix. Feel like the old days again.

One thing I've noticed is it's been REALLY hard to come across senses, alters, and lightsabers, not that they're much use which such low ability characters pulled so far.

No Vaders or Obis so far pulled. Still lots of fun though!

Been playing for a couple of years, it's fun - not too serious though.

It's a scientific fact that the SyFy channel's original movies suck.

Me and my best friend have been buying boxes in chronological order, (banning inserts and virtuals) and doing draft. We're up to cloud city now and enhanced packs. Man it's been a blast over the last few months, just the feel old-school style.

You've been playing it for awhile, right?

Did you guys know that Chris Schoenthal is like the world champion of Game of Thrones CCG?

Yep. Hearthstone is a ton a fun for casual play, wouldn't want to do it pro though.

Still playing Star Wars cards, just got back from a weekend in Texas with Shaw, Kessling, and Mike Richards. Play Hearthstone a ton as well, I think there's probably 30+ people I know from various games on there now.

Take for example this new Final Fantasy TCG coming out this week. I've pre-sold a ton and plan on selling it on my site. I should probably learn how to play so I know what cards are good and would be more expensive but I have NO desire to learn how to play it. I can even watch videos to easily learn it, I looked at a PDF and it looked like too much effort and I just don't care.

I've gone back to Tennessee the past few years and we have been getting the group of CCG players all back together and getting dinner. It's been a blast to see where everyone is in life and what's going on. I miss the people and great friendships, but I don't really miss playing.

I've got so many past cards and strategy crammed into my head, I have no desire to ever learn a new game and figure out strategies. I also don't have time or the patience for it anymore.

The social aspects were a blast. One day during a game of online lotr, keith watabayashi and I were reminiscing about the people, and it was really bittersweet.

I miss the people. I miss traveling. I don't miss the crazy expense. There's something though, that you get from a healthy meta in the ccg realm, that just can't be replicated with board games, and video games etc. - CCG's worked on so many levels - For the introvert the time spent tweaking and testing and evaluation was so great for exploring a system and utilizing your headspace - And the fun of collaborating - and then ultimately the social aspects of competing and sharing - There's just no way I could afford it anymore.

And Vs. was the best game/competetive scene ever - MtG is still a bad game with a lot of players - I don't see anything getting legs in the post LCG world.
