Stay current with new teams submitted by players around the globe here in the Wizards (Axis and Allies and Star Wars) Miniatures teams section. This is one of the most important areas of DeckTech, because having a great team is a major part of winning consistently. Not only can you get a feel for what others are playing, but you may see a glimmer of an idea that you may find you will be able to exploit in a much more effective way.

You can also see as to what to stay away from. With that being said, look objectively at the teams, and DO NOT rate them until AFTER you have read the playing mechanics. Sometimes the strategy may not be readily obvious until the play notes are reviewed. Have respect for other peoples teams, especially if you are fairly new to the game.
